Tavola Piena offers hand-painted Italian ceramics created in partnership with artisan workshops in Deruta, Italy. Each piece is painted by hand using traditional techniques, so subtle variations in brushwork, color and glaze are part of its character.
I created Tavola Piena around a simple idea: beautiful tableware should not be saved for special occasions. Growing up in an Italian-American family, the table was where people gathered, ate, argued, laughed and stayed longer than they planned. I wanted to create collections that honor that tradition while feeling fresh enough for the way we live today.
Our pieces are designed to be used, mixed, layered and gathered around—not simply displayed.
