About this item

This stunning piece of artisan glass art features a vibrant abstract design created through fused glass techniques. The panel showcases flowing waves in brilliant shades of lime green, turquoise, and deep teal, complemented by periwinkle blue. A striking circular eye motif in concentric rings of turquoise and teal serves as the focal point. The piece is adorned with seven decorative metal studs along one curved edge, adding dimensional interest and an industrial-artistic touch. The glass panel is mounted on a custom black metal tree-branch inspired stand with organic, flowing lines that elevate the artwork for display.

Karla Ely Glass Pahrump, NV, USA | Why be Normal? (especially as concerns art)

I am largely a self-taught artist; though I have completed post-secondary classes in fine art, the bulk of my working knowledge over the past three decades has been gleaned via private instruction and self -exploration.

Daily observations often inspire new work - a walk in the desert, observing native flora or a visit to the seaside to glimpse the natural environment have all provided the impetus for new work.

My art is continuously evolving, and I am eager to employ novel techniques to create fused glass pieces that are innovative and engaging.
