Madam Adwoa became involved in handicrafts through her mother, who sold Adinkra symbols and kente cloths. While helping her mother, she began to offer a small number of woodcarvings, which to her surprise sold very well in the market. This inspired Madam Adwoa to pursue woodcarving as a career. After a period of careful instruction in the creation and finishing of finely sculpted objects, she opened up her own workshop, under the banner, God moves in mysterious ways.
Currently Madam Adwoa heads a team of fifteen artisans in her workshop. As a highly evolved and dedicated creator, she demands only the best from her staff.
