This handmade needle felted dove brings together some of my favorite things—soft wool, natural textures, vintage treasures, and a bit of Christmas sparkle.

The dove is created by hand from luxurious 100% wool, with soft wool locks giving the tail its wonderfully feathery texture. She rests in a nest of greenery and woodland details arranged inside a vintage goblet, turning an object from another time into an entirely new Christmas keepsake.

The dove has long been a Christian symbol of peace, hope, love and the Holy Spirit, making this decoration especially meaningful during the Christmas season. Pinecones and natural greenery add a feeling of winter and renewal, while pearls and subtle touches of sparkle give the piece just enough holiday elegance.

I needle felt each dove by hand from 100% wool and soft natural locks, then build its setting one little detail at a time. I love combining wool with vintage and natural finds to create something that feels as though it already has a story.
Needle-felted wool is happiest when handled gently. Keep your dove dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight. If dust collects, use a very soft brush or a gentle puff of cool air. Do not pull loose wool fibers; they can be carefully tucked back into place with a felting needle if necessary.
The vintage goblet and decorative elements may be gently dusted with a soft, dry cloth or brush. This piece is intended for indoor decorative use only and is not a toy.
