Retired educators turned makers. Kathy, a lifelong crafter and painter, contributes to the design and finishing of every piece. Robb discovered his passion for woodworking after retirement, handcrafting unique epoxy resin charcuterie boards, wall art, and custom home decor.
Together they create warm, one-of-a-kind pieces blending natural wood and often vibrant resin — made with care in rural Wisconsin.

Robb Blanchette Elroy, Wisconsin | Robb is a retired educator based in rural Wisconsin with a passion for woodworking.

My name is Robb, a former educator who discovered a passion for woodworking after retirement. What began as a personal hobby quickly turned into a personally rewarding venture as friends and relatives started asking me to create pieces for them. I work closely with my wife Kathy, who adds the perfect finishing touches and contributes to design elements that make each piece special. Based in rural Wisconsin, I enjoy crafting items using a variety of beautiful woods. Often these items are one-of-a-kind. I work with domestic hardwoods like oak, cherry, maple, cedar, hickory and walnut, as well as exotic species including olive wood, wenge, padauk, limba, purple heart, and bubinga. I also love incorporating vibrant epoxy resin, blending natural wood grains with striking colors to create unique, functional pieces that are also pleasing to the eye.

After retiring from education, we hit the road as full-time RVers and continued sharing our music through Gospel concerts at RV parks and churches. One winter, Robb began helping in the woodshop at an RV park and started making simple wooden crosses. To our surprise, they sold very well at our merch table after shows. That spark quickly grew into a full passion for woodworking. Robb expanded from crosses to jewelry boxes, plaques, cheese cutters, cutting boards, and eventually began creating beautiful pieces with epoxy resin and fine woods. Kathy has been by his side every step of the way — offering design ideas and expertly applying the finishes that bring each piece to life. What began as a hobby has become our joyful way of creating heartfelt, handcrafted treasures from our hearts to your home.
