Mary Dzidzienyo handmaded beaded jewelry

Handmade: A Global Artisan Marketplace
I was born in 1991 to the late Mr. Christian Korku Dzidzienyo and Madam Adjo Kwao in Accra. My father was a senior plumber at the Ghana atomic energy commission until he retired when was called to Heaven in 2012. My mother is a farmer and currently has small cocoa and plantain farm.
I have five older brothers, two younger brothers and two younger sisters.
My basic education through junior high was at the atomic D/A. For senior high, I attended Preset Pacesetters school where I studied general arts.
I went on to attend the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), where I studied and received a diploma in broadcast journalism. I am currently a single mother to a beautiful baby girl.
When I was in primary school, I used to make simple bracelets with rubber rope. I didnt do much with them, because they were just a hobby. As the years went, by I realized I have a knack for jewelry making and design. Handmade pieces made me so happy, hence my decision to study the arts.
It didnt take long for me to learn. Im proud to say that after just one week of lessons, I started making very nice jewelry which my friends and family loved so much. Its always a pleasure reading about beads, or combining different beads to make a very special piece. Some of my favorite beads to work with are recycled glass or plastic beads, wooden beads, and amber.
I put my heart and soul into every accessory that I make. When my heart makes people happy, I feel fulfilled and, to me, that is my little contribution to making the world a better place. As I grow in experience, my goal is to have a craft school where people can learn basic crafts and be happy.
