"Add a personal touch to your days with a convenient creation by Mary Dzidzienyo from Ghana. Working with cotton, the artisan creates a tote bag with a generous space that allows you to run your errands neatly, all while expressing your refined side with its batik design composed of black and white hues in a splatter pattern. In addition, the accessory comes with a linen lining and is named after the Ewe word Alua, meaning 'lovely one.'"

I have five older brothers, two younger brothers and two younger sisters.
My basic education through junior high was at the atomic D/A. For senior high, I attended Preset Pacesetters school where I studied general arts.
I went on to attend the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), where I studied and received a diploma in broadcast journalism. I am currently a single mother to a beautiful baby girl.
When I was in primary school, I used to make simple bracelets with rubber rope. I didn't do much with them, because they were just a hobby. As the years went, by I realized I have a knack for jewelry making and design. Handmade pieces made me so happy, hence my decision to study the arts.
It didn't take long for me to learn. I'm proud to say that after just one week of lessons, I started making very nice jewelry which my friends and family loved so much. It's always a pleasure reading about beads, or combining different beads to make a very special piece. Some of my favorite beads to work with are recycled glass or plastic beads, wooden beads, and amber.
I put my heart and soul into every accessory that I make. When my heart makes people happy, I feel fulfilled and, to me, that is my little contribution to making the world a better place. As I grow in experience, my goal is to have a craft school where people can learn basic crafts and be happy.
