"When the pandemic started, many of us lost our jobs and had to look for a solution to generate income. It was at that moment that we decided to come together and start a project, and that's how the Familia Marchena Medal group was born.
"From the very beginning, when we started brainstorming ideas for creating products, we made the decision to rescue wood and give it a new lease on life, aiming to be innovative with our products. Our purpose is not to cut down trees because we are conservationists. We want to convey the message that beautiful things can be created from wood scraps that would otherwise go to waste. Our vision and mission are to raise awareness about nature and promote wood rescue and reuse.
"God has given us the opportunity to excel in this work, and we sincerely hope that those who acquire our products understand that they are crafted with love and passion. Behind it all is a united family working to move forward, with many goals to achieve.
"We would like to express our gratitude to NOVICA for opening doors for us and helping our products reach many parts of the world, allowing each family to have a piece of Costa Rica in their homes."
