These sculptural statement earrings merge abalone's iridescent beauty with the depth of true artisan silverwork. Entirely handcrafted in sterling silver through labor-intensive techniques, each pair feels like a small ocean-inspired artwork with shifting shell colors, organic textures, and sculptural silver forms that can never be precisely replicated.

The design centers on textured square links, each approximately 0.5" x 0.5", created through reticulation—a traditional metalsmithing process where silver surfaces are repeatedly heated until they ripple, contract, and form richly organic patterns. Additional silver elements were then fused onto these reticulated surfaces, creating enhanced depth and dimension. Above and below each square rest bezel-set abalone shell pieces with free-form shapes and luminous blue, violet, green, and bronze hues that echo the metal's fluid movement.

Weighing 9.23 grams for the pair and measuring approximately 2.8" in total length, with a 2.5" drop, the earrings feature handmade sterling silver ear wires. Final oxidation was applied to darken recesses and highlights every ridge, fusion mark, and bezel edge, creating a striking contrast against the abalone's natural glow. I’m Cristina, a dreamer at heart. I've always been a lover of beauty in nature and art, endlessly inspired by the diversity of cultures and the uniqueness of the world around us.
