Oblong, white and textured fired ceramic earrings by Mugs & Bugs. These unique, hand-made earrings are the perfect complement to any outfit, the minimalist design allowing for versatility and creativity in your personal style. The un-glazed look allows the natural texture and beauty of the original clay body to shine through in this piece, and their lightweight composition, as well as hypoallergenic metal hardware ensure comfort. No two pairs are exactly the same as each of our earrings are made by hand, so slight variations in size and shape may occur (and make them that much more special). We hope you enjoy wearing these as much as we enjoy hand-making them!

We use hypo-allergenic bronze for all of our metals that are nickel lead and cadmium free.
We make sure to highlight the texture of the clay body using minimal to no glazes. This means that the texture of the earrings can be slightly rough amplifying the earthy feel of our earrings.
Our entire process takes about a month to complete, from start to finish. We create small batches of about 200-250 pairs of earrings per month in our home studio near Los Angeles, CA.
Both the earring hook and clay can be cleaned simply using a small amount of soap and water. Make sure to dry thoroughly.

I started Mugs + Bugs with my husband two years ago after I started making ceramic earrings in our home studio. We bonded over our love of art, activism, and living a slow, intentional life. As two introverted, neurodivergent artists, we have created a business that showcases our unique strengths, and allows us to live in alignment with our values and capacities. When we aren’t working, you can find us enjoying all kinds of food, watching (and then endlessly quoting) movies, and spending time with family and friends.
