My friend has lots of scarves but the way she described this one couldn't be put in better words...Holly!!! That made my day. I've searched for a scarf such as this one for so many years and could barely believe my luck when I found it here. This is a beautiful piece of wearable art. I'm so incredibly grateful to the artisan for making such an airy, simple and elegant garment that effortlessly dresses up any outfit. It's one of those pieces that makes you look pulled together without trying too hard. It also will be great for summer to keep my neck from getting a chill in air conditioning.Make sure you gently hand wash before wearing as the cotton tends to shed a bit at first.

I've carried a jewelry bag for years that has finally fallen apart. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it because it's constructed exactly like the one I had, and it's way prettier. I love the fabric and it has plenty of pockets for keeping items separated and safely stowed. It seems to be very well made. I was surprised to find an additional zipper at the very top that opens up a compartment that's the entire length of the bag--this is an excellent place to tuck a light scarf or delicate hosiery to protect them from damage in a suitcase or travel bag.I would seriously consider buying this as a gift for anyone else who travels or for someone like a crafter or knitter who might need to carry small items in a larger bag--this would be excellent for keeping stitch markers, measuring tapes, small scissors, tapestry needles or other crafting sundries under control.

The colors shown in the photo are brighter and of more orange or rust hue than the scarf I received. It is lovely and of beautiful workmanship, but not what I had wanted. However, I've decided to give it as a birthday gift to someone who wears a lot of the maroon that is in the scarf. I have bought scarves from this artist before, and I admire her talent. The color are just not accurate on this one.

I am so pleased with this scarf. The colors in mine are true to the picture, muted grays, purples, and mauves. I have lots of clothes in these colors and the scarf looks great with all of them! This includes shirts in bolder tones. The fabric is cotton, a plus to my sensitive skin. To be sure it wouldn't irritate me, I put the scarf in the dryer with a fabric softener soaked cloth and tossed it on no heat .'fluff' for a few minutes. A beautiful scarf at a good price!

I just received two scarves today by Vinita and was so impressed with their quality and beauty that I wanted to write a review and to thank her for her beautiful work.They are both hand painted on silk but they are very different. This one is a long rectangular scarf that is tie dyed and the "Rose Plaid" is a large square with variationsof rose. Both are just beautiful and can't wait to wear them. Will be ordering more as gifts!

I absolutely love my exquisite scarf. It is truly a rich deep blue indigo color that will look beautiful against any skin tones. I look forward to many years of use. I typically like to purchase special finds to give as gifts throughout the year. However, this time I kept for myself. So, glad that I treated myself.
