Lynette I've carried a jewelry bag for years that has finally fallen apart. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it because it's constructed exactly like the one I had, and it's way prettier. I love the fabric and it has plenty of pockets for keeping items separated and safely stowed. It seems to be very well made. I was surprised to find an additional zipper at the very top that opens up a compartment that's the entire length of the bag--this is an excellent place to tuck a light scarf or delicate hosiery to protect them from damage in a suitcase or travel bag.I would seriously consider buying this as a gift for anyone else who travels or for someone like a crafter or knitter who might need to carry small items in a larger bag--this would be excellent for keeping stitch markers, measuring tapes, small scissors, tapestry needles or other crafting sundries under control.

Carolyn My youngest daughter was going back to grad school and loves things from indigenous artists. I thought this expressed her uniqueness. The pattern and colors on the backpack are unique. It was also very sturdy to be able to hold books. She uses it and makes it an integral part of her everyday use of it.

Jeannette I loved this bag to pieces. Literally. It is a well made bag to have held up for me as it has. I carried it for a very long time. Eventually the inside pocket zipper that was sewn on by hand came undone. Then the button on the front came off. That's when I decided to put it away until it could be repaired. I plan to use it again at some point or pass it to a daughter. The fabric has held up beautifully. I would definitely buy from this artisan again.

Teri This is the first time I like seeing my bag just laying on the table. It fits comfortably across my chest and it holds everything I need, even a journal and a book if I want to! The medallion bends if you smash it into a motorcycle saddlebag, but it bends right back. Love it.
