This is a lovely, beautifully made windchime, but be aware, it has the most delicate sound, so if there are other windchimes nearby, they may overpower it. I think it would be perfect on its own in a meditation garden.

This simple but carefully crafted wind chime is made with aluminum pipes beneath rods of bamboo. It makes a very attractive and soothing addition on my outdoor patio. I have very fond memories of a trip l took to Bali long ago, and I'm so pleased to hear the gentle sound created by the chime.

These spoons are not aligned. Of course, Bali has no idea of the climatic changes the wood would undergo enroute to US. Harsh temperature changes can make a big difference to any acoustic musical instrument. But I am so happy, I got it. It will work, if you want to make it work. With that said, I should note that the workmanship is lovely and the wood itself is beautiful . It might be a functional tambourine for a child playing around but I do not see it as a real instrument.
