This is a lovely, beautifully made windchime, but be aware, it has the most delicate sound, so if there are other windchimes nearby, they may overpower it. I think it would be perfect on its own in a meditation garden.

These spoons are not aligned. Of course, Bali has no idea of the climatic changes the wood would undergo enroute to US. Harsh temperature changes can make a big difference to any acoustic musical instrument. But I am so happy, I got it. It will work, if you want to make it work. I bought this for my husband who loves instruments and it ended up being a display piece rather than an actual instrument. With that said, I should note that the workmanship is lovely and the wood itself is beautiful . It might be a functional tambourine for a child playing around but I do not see it as a real instrument.
