Jennifer The wood, and carving, is beautiful; but I have one criticism: the paw is rounded off too much, so it doesn't actually scratch enough. It is more of a massage feel, and does not take care of the itch, it rubs the itchy area but does not get rid of the itch; and I would love it if the back scratcher had some scratch to it. If it had a bit of an edge on the paw, it would be perfect. I do love it though, just not for scratching my back so much.
