My abstract work appears spontaneously, moved by the force of my spirit. My impressionist works are recreations based on photographs I have taken of the places I have visited in Brazil. One of the things I enjoy most in this life is to travel around my country and paint these recollections that allow me to relive happy moments.

"I began to develop an interest in painting at a very young age, influenced by grandfather – designer, artist and engraver Joaquim Bezerra Paiva. When I was 30 years old I began to frequent the Association of Porcelain Painters. I received numerous awards including the first prize at the XV World Orchid Conference, held at Rio de Janeiro's Museum of Modern Art.
