Handmade: A Global Artisan Marketplace MX
I was born in Rio Cuarto, Argentina on December 21, 1962. My childhood there with my family was a happy one. My parents werent artists themselves, but they appreciated art in all its expressions and taught me to appreciate it as well.
I finished school, but the coursework was in no way related to art. When I graduated, I began training as a stage actor. When I was 40, I began to seriously study acting. Then I moved to Mexico and began to design silver jewelry.
My first design was a silver ring I still have, and I want it to remain in my family for future generations. Ive been designing jewelry now since 2003, and my family is also involved. My designs are 100 percent handcrafted by artisans who preserve traditional techniques. Id describe my style as simple and original, inspired by life and by my people.
My favorite activities are reading, cinema and the theater. My greatest challenges and worries are the same as most people my age - the death of loved ones, war, sorrow .
Id like to share my work with you all, and also the pleasure of art in all its expressions. Its a wonderful way to enjoy life.
