"I'm Rimpi Gupta and I was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. People who know me well describe me as focused, helpful and a multi-tasker.
"Painting is my childhood passion. I love the uniqueness of each and every painting. All of them are rich in their own way.
"My mentor and guide is Mr. Sunil Jaiswal, a Novica-featured artist. He has helped me polish my skills and gain confidence in my own work. I keep on practicing to improve and enhance my skills.
"I usually use oil and acrylics for my paintings since they are easy to work with. I enjoy making floral and Radha-Krishna themed paintings on canvas. I believe landscape paintings are comparatively more challenging.
"My inspiration is nature around us. I keenly observe artworks from many famous painters for inspiration. Painting makes me feel independent and has helped me gain self-confidence.
"I am trying to impart my knowledge about this art to small children around me. I have tried to make the learning process interesting so that they enjoy the work."
