"I was born in January of 1978 in Madhya Pradesh, India. Those who know me well describe me as innovative, creative and committed to my passion.
"I have always been keen for drawing, painting and art since childhood. Although I received a masters degree in English literature, painting has always been my first love.
"In 2010, I met my mentor, Mr. Sunil Jaiswal, a Novica-featured artist who helped me perfect my paintings and since then there has been no turning back.
"Painting gives me a lot of satisfaction as well as the freedom to express myself. It requires a lot of practice, patience, and creativity to master any art and craft. I paint on canvas or on ivory paper using primarily acrylics, oils and water-based paints.
"I really enjoy using brushes, rollers and spatulas to create various forms of designs and textures. Using the hands directly for painting is the most challenging part of the entire process.
"My source of inspiration is the environment around me. Rich colors and vivid images have always excited me. My family, mentor and friends have given me immense support and encouragement to pursue my passion.
"I have participated in various exhibitions in Gurgaon and Dubai.
"Under the guidance of my mentor, I want to spread our art around the world wherever I can. It would be wonderful if some day my work received awards and recognition."
