Philip Dankwa wood masks and decor

My name is Philip Dankwa; I was born in 1981. I am respectful, kind and hardworking. My specialization is in wood art. My love for art grew stronger at the secondary school level. I had the strong edge to do art, and so I studied art. Also whenever I visited museums, the love for art grew stronger. After my secondary school education, a close friend of mine who was into carving taught me to carve and finish. With respect, love and kindness, I learned the craft successfully.

I model crafts such as masks and home decor accessories with wood. When designing, I look out for quality and unique finishing. I look up to people who have made it big in the art industry as my models. I market my finished products at an art market in Asamankese. My hope is to satisfy my online customers.
