"Hello everyone! I am Lilian Pérez, and I am delighted to be able to share with you the story of our group, Women Artisans of Chilascó. We are a group of talented women who have devoted a significant part of our lives to crafting pine products. However, our story goes beyond craftsmanship; it is a tale of resilience and empowerment.
"Each one of us has a unique story, a story of struggle and perseverance. Many of us have faced difficulties in our lives, but we always find the strength to move forward. It is precisely this strength that has led us to form this group and to contribute economically to our homes and communities.
"We learned the art from our mothers and even our grandmothers, who passed down to us their love and dedication to craftsmanship. And now, we continue that tradition by creating unique and beautiful products that reflect our culture and identity.
"Pine is a marvel of nature that inspires us to create new works of art, even when its branches fall. And just as pine renews its beauty, we too can renew our lives and find the strength to keep going.
"I invite you to get to know our work, to support the women artisans of Chilascó, and to be a part of our story of overcoming and empowerment. Together, we can create a better, more just, and more equitable world for everyone. Thank you for reading our story!"
