I'm more of a writer and a musician than a jewelry maker. However, I find a ton of four-leaf clovers. I don't know why -- good eyesight? patience? genuine luck? -- I just do, and I always have. I started running out of friends, family, and strangers to give them to, so I wanted to share the love and the luck with people who may need it. So I started pressing four-leaf clovers into jewelry and donating the sales to charity.
One reason the Irish traditionally believed four-leaf clovers to be lucky (besides their relative rarity) is that the fourth leaf is said to symbolize God's grace. I like that. So if you're looking for a special gift of grace, or just a bit of good luck for yourself, hopefully you can find it here. I'll post pendants and key chains for sale as I make them -- and I'm open to crafting any custom ideas you might dream up.
All proceeds from each sale ($25 after materials and Etsy fees) are donated to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. If you have a preference between these nonprofits, please let me know with your order. Also let me know if you'd like the donation to be made in someone's memory or honor as a gift - otherwise I'll make it in your name.
