"I'm Joaquín, and my beloved wife, Silvia, is my partner in this journey. Our roots lie in rural El Salvador, where artistry wasn't a family tradition. Our artisanal path began about five years ago, initially sporadically but became a solid commitment four years back. The humble cardboard and disposable cups served as molds for our first creation – a little pot that I no longer have. We've come a long way since then, continuously expanding our offerings.
"Our journey started with Silvia's passion for plants, and her desire to find unique ways to display them. She encouraged us to craft these charming cement pots, and it didn't take long for us to recognize their market potential. As the demand grew, we diversified our range. We've now established a dedicated workshop space that houses our production, storage, and order fulfillment. Our goal is to keep expanding our product line under the banner of decorative cement.
"Our education has been a mix of self-learning and trial and error. We're proud to say that our mistakes have been our best teachers. Our materials are basic: cement, water, sand, and sometimes dyes. Our customers appreciate the handmade imperfections, viewing them as a testament to our craftsmanship. We are on an adventure of continuous learning, perfecting our art with each passing day.
