“Hello! I am Humberto Sosa. I have been working on my own for about 17 years. Since I was a child I liked decoration and modern art; that's how I got interested and wanted to express what I am. After years of pursuing the dream of living from art in my country, I managed to achieve it. However, along the way I had to make mistakes thousands of times, and not stop until I got what I was looking for. Having the opportunity to work in this art allows me to create all the time, imagine, think and tell stories.
“At times it is challenging, because it implies being in constant change, presenting different shapes, formats and colors, not allowing myself to stagnate. And show completely different collections; mastering new styles and trends.
“The direction of each collection of our works is determined by me, but I have an extraordinary team of artists who participate, and give their opinions to finally determine the direction of the pieces. We also work with all kinds of art materials: oil, acrylic, ink, graphite, pencil, gold leaf, silver leaf, building materials, concrete and others. Maybe some are not considered art as such, but in art, everything fits.
“I would like my works to be all over the world, and that more people could be employed through art, since there are no art companies in Mexico. It is a huge challenge, but that is the size of the satisfaction and reward, since I believe that anyone can grow based on commitment and discipline.”
