I grew up in the heart of the bustling San Francisco Bay Area. My entrepreneurial spirit and talent for design were revealed at a young age. When other children were playing with dolls, I would create pieces of jewelry from found objects and sell them to the neighbors. Though sales were minimal, the creativity brought me so much joy. After a decade in a corporate career that provided little satisfaction, I returned to jewelry design.
In 1999, my first collection showed its stylish face. In those early days, my passion involved rare and exotic gemstones woven with precious metal wire. The aesthetic was delicate and ultra-feminine at a time when women favored large, bold pieces. Ever the risk taker, my work garnered critical praise and a growing exclusive clientele.
As time has progressed, so has my design focus. In the Spring of 2012, gifted. jewelry was born. Conceived from a desire to create work with greater meaning and the hope of making a positive impact in people’s lives. With a focus on compassion and human connection and an unwavering commitment to superior craftsmanship, I now create jewelry that touches lives and commemorates it's milestones, from the birth of a new baby, the joy of adoption, a child going off to college, addiction recovery, to the death of a beloved pet… All of life’s most important moments are captured and handcrafted into wearable memories.
