Canis Dacosta Edwards

Handmade: A Global Artisan Marketplace USA
I have dealt in arts and crafts for some time. I came up with the idea for making these plaques and usually work with plywood, formica, ribbon and white glue. The designs arise from my imagination. First I cut the wood to the desired shape, and make these into the traditional symbols or images of my choice. I have taught about eleven people and at the moment I currently have seven boys who are learning.
I was born on August 1, 1967 at Nsawam. I am married and we have five children - two boys and three girls. My favorite things in life are traveling, drumming, dancing and art; one day Id like to build my own school of art, drumming and dancing.
To believe that I will one day become a master of my own self is a source of inspiration.
