"I seek to share a story; to decorate a space.
“Hi, I'm Bertha Martin del Campo. I have found myself surrounded by art at different moments. Many times I have in mind what I am going to do, and in the process many changes come. When what I am working on is finished, I move away to better appreciate the work; and then I discover that my unconscious came out and I smile.
“I have had great teachers on this path, always my family. Surrounded by materials, fabrics, and different places that have I passed through have contributed greatly to my knowledge. Since I studied Graphic Design, I was inclined towards crafts, painting courses, paper making and bookbinding. I am currently concentrating on drawing and painting.
“I have always liked creating, playing with different elements, making combinations with an infinite number of materials and sketching. I always carry a notebook with me in which I make "scribbles" that eventually turn into drawings. I design, capture and look for quality in the materials that I acquire. My camera also accompanies me, and together we capture images that I later draw. I discover all the magic that in the first instance the eye cannot see. I even manage to capture details without intention, which are transformed into something unexpected, but the result becomes fantastic and that ends in a wonderful work of art.
“For me, it is essential to have control of my time when creating and working on my works. It has been rewarding, fun and I see every moment as an opportunity for growth. I really like to see how it happens when I am working. For all that I can create, for all that I can capture, for how it brings me closer to others and how it is that moments of inspiration are also fundamental. Each experience lived, each journey that life, my family and nature gives me offers me this new opportunity to create.
“I want to share my projects with many people; acquire new experiences that give me inspiration; continue preparing myself and always give thanks for everything I have so that this project continues to fill me with life and fun.”
