"I lost my father when I was 12 years old. My mother worked hard and struggled so that my siblings and I could have a good future. I am very proud of her.
"I became interested in carving when I was a child and wondered how a wooden elephant was made. My curiosity to learn attracted me to arts and crafts.

They won't fit on my year-round Christmas tree because they are quite large and I have an indoor Norfolk pine whose branches are not strong enough to support them, but I'm figuring I'll find somewhere else to hang them eventually.

These wool animal ornaments were lovely on the holiday packages for friends and family?everybody loved them. A few of the ears on some of the animals seemed to be sewn on backwards, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall the quality was very high and worth the price.
