My name is Arshad Ullah. I am from the northern part of Pakistan called Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; the old name was NWFP for northern, western frontier province. My hometown is located near the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Near my hometown, we have a lot of mines. So we have an excellent quality of gemstones. We have nephrite, jade, lapis lazuli, tourmaline, and a lot more.
I studied in English medium school, and I intended to become an engineer. However, I never had any interest in stones when I was a child. But in 2008, when I finish my higher studies, I decided to move to Thailand with my uncle, who owns a gemstone shop in Bangkok. I started learning new things in the world of gemstones. Gemstones changed my thinking, and my way of life. The stones give me power and patience. My favorites are aquamarine and diamond.
