About this item

Simple, timeless, and easy to wear, this Sterling Silver Labradorite necklace is one of those pieces that pairs effortlessly with just about anything. Measuring 17.32 inches long, it features five extra large Labradorite gemstone chips arranged across a delicate bar, creating a subtle focal point that adds natural beauty without overpowering your outfit. The chain is handcrafted entirely from Sterling Silver, giving this necklace an artisan touch from clasp to centerpiece.

Labradorite is treasured for both its striking appearance and its metaphysical associations. Often called the Stone of Transformation, it's believed to encourage intuition, personal growth, and inner strength while supporting the Throat, Third Eye, and Crown Chakras. Because of these associations, Labradorite is especially popular with Reiki practitioners, spiritual seekers, and anyone drawn to meaningful gemstone jewelry. It also serves as an alternate birthstone for February and March and is commonly associated with the zodiac signs Leo, Scorpio, and Sagittarius.

Whether you're celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary with the traditional gift of Sterling Silver, searching for a thoughtful birthday present, or simply treating yourself to an everyday necklace with a little extra meaning, this piece is designed to be worn and enjoyed for years to come. Its versatile design transitions beautifully from casual days to special occasions, making it a staple you'll find yourself reaching for again and again. Add this handcrafted Labradorite necklace to your collection today and enjoy a piece that's as meaningful as it is easy to wear.

Metal Allergies: Any metal may cause a reaction; I do pride myself on using the most hypoallergenic metals I can (Copper, Sterling and 14K Gold), however some people may still have a reaction. In order to prevent a reaction on a budget, you may use a product like SkinGuard to coat the metal.
Patina and Tarnish: Sterling Silver, Brass and Copper will naturally patina/tarnish over time and with extended wear, as well as with being stored in an area with higher humidity. Depending on the stones used in each piece, you may use a jewelry cleaning solution, but it is advised that a regular cleaning cloth or a soft-bristled toothbrush and a little bit of mild soap be used to protect the stones in your piece. Keeping silica packs or chalk in your jewelry boxes is a great way to help keep additional moisture away from your jewelry while it's being stored.
General Jewelry Care: Never wear your pieces while swimming, bathing, cleaning or while doing rigorous activities. The chemicals in certain bath and body products, cleaning agents as well as chlorine will eat away and cause damage to your metals and stones. Wearing your jewelry to bed will have wires and prongs catching on blankets- causing you to lose stones, bend earwires out of shape and break necklace chains.

The Greene Bead Racine, Wisconsin, USA | Attention to Detail, Allergy Awareness & Commitment to Community

Hello! My name is Leha, and I am the artist for The Greene Bead. I specialize in Wire Wrapped and Polymer Clay jewelry, and have been a gemstone lover since I was a small child- you could always find me coming home laden with rocks in my pockets! I try to use as much naturally derived product as I can, including all genuine gemstones, mined locally here in Wisconsin, Illinois, across the US and around the world. Some of my pieces even include upcycled items such as vintage beads, crystals and buttons! My journey began back in 2010 as a way to create new jewelry for myself, a broke college student, by taking apart jewelry I already owned and piecing it back together to create new items. One of my roommates at the time saw what I was doing and asked me to create a few pieces for him, and that's how this all started!

After many years of practice and improvement (I'm still improving everyday!), I've come to the point in my journey where I can start giving back. I've created many pieces to be used in silent auctions to raise money for my high school, my hometown library, benefits for friends and family to help with medical bills, and even Parkinson's research and Veterans' Assistance programs. Last, but certainly not least, it is my personal goal to make sure each and every item I create for you is completely unique and that you are 100% satisfied with your order. I strive to use the highest quality materials possible and use full transparency in my product descriptions- as someone with severe metal allergies, I understand just how important it is to know *exactly* what you're purchasing!

Please feel free to message me with any questions, comments or concerns! I wish you all the best in your endeavors to find that perfect gift for yourself or someone you love.
