I love this dress and just know I will be wearing this often when the weather gets warmer. The fit is roomy and the pockets are so convenient. Only issue was the poor way it was packed. I had to request a 2nd dress to be sent as the flimsy cardboard disintegrated and the 1st dress fell out. The 2nd dress arrived and it was just luck that it was still in the box which had worn out in shipping due to the thin cardboard. Was pleased that it was easy to report the 1st dress was missing and the 2nd was sent without delay.

Before finding this product, I searched far and wide for the right robe. I thought I wanted kimono style, but this pattern sang to my soul. Even so, seeing it in person was the real treat! I love to tie-dye and watched your artisan video about the process and yet I still have no idea how you created this layered dye pattern. I love it. I haven't even gotten to the best part. I suffer from hives and itchy skin after I swim or shower. No one seems to know what the cause is, so I have learned to deal. When I first slipped into this robe on after the shower I found it SOOTHED my skin, even better than lotion. It's magical, a necessity in my daily ritual. I am 5'7'' and this robe sits perfectly above my ankle bone. The fit and sleeves make me feel like royalty, although I will say the width of the sleeves make it difficult to do any chores around the house. Oh well, I do the dishes before I shower now. Loving rayon makes this an automatic 7 (out of ten) but the style leaves room to move comfortably, stay cool in Texas summers, and the side pockets are the last item that seals the deal! Roomy and large enough for i-phone and keys, I don't buy a dress unless it has pockets anymore.Of course the green and blue color scheme is a great combo for me and shoulder straps allow for bra to be worn without straps showing. LOVE< LOVE< LOVE this dress!

This is the most beautiful Batik dress I have ever owned. The Tie-Died Batik print is gorgeous, and the colors are stunning. It is just as bright and breezy as it looks in the photos. Very pretty robe with blue, purple and green. Feels very soft and light weight when wearing it. My husband thinks it looks great too. It is generously sized but does not feel like too much fabric. It washes well - I use delicate, cold water and let air dry. I am 5’9” tall so it does not come all the way to my ankles but it is longer than most at pprox 52” from center neck to hem. I love this robe. The colors were just as pictured. The weight was better than I thought it would be. It's simply perfect. The robe came in a fabric bag of same material. But when I opened the box, I had to use a box cutter (as most do now). Because the bag was not packaged/protected in plastic or paper but was placed in a shipping box of the same size as the robe, the box cutter sliced the bag and the robe. I will try to sew then but I don't know if it will work. Definitely, this needs to be packaged better.

So easy to wear -- and the fabric is a work of art! Also: it has pockets (Why doesn't *everything* have pockets?) This is now one of my very favorite things to wear in the summertime. NB: Be careful and wash it in cold on the delicate cycle, or it will get a bit shorter. Still lovely, but just so you're aware -- the delicate, lovely, painstakingly printed fabric can shrink in the washing machine if it's not on delicate cycle.

This arrived this morning, and I am in love. It's exactly what I've been looking for for years - it's long, elegant, well-made and absolutely beautiful. The fabric is light and cool, moves easily and just flows. The colours are just something else - I've never seen a gown like it.I specifically wanted to review as I had been worried about the sizing. I am a UK size 14-16 and currently pregnant, so was looking for a gown to wear in hospital. Having done all the measurements I was worried this would be too small and nearly didn't purchase. Got the rope yesterday, tried it on, fits perfectly, (5'6")put it in the wash delicate cycle and cold water, hung it out to dry and it looks great, without ironing.The colors are vibrant and blend in beautifully, the rope feels very soft and the workmanship is top quality, one can see the hand stitching in various places. i will love this rope for a long time. thank you for another product i purchased from your company.

I adore this robe!! The fabric is wonderfully soft and silky, but still has a nice weight to it. The colors are bright and bold. A bonus find is the robe has pockets. I am 5? 2? and 125lbs. I honestly fully expected to have to have this robe tailored to get an appropriate length in the hem and arms, but it fits me perfectly. Could not be happier with my purchase. It came beautifully packaged in a fabric pouch definitely worth saving and even included a sweet card from the artist. I love it! Thank you!!!

I had been looking for a colorful summer robe when I found this site in Google search... The quality of both the beautifully sumptuous & soft fabric and the craftsmanship is far superior to anything I've seen in the stores. There is ample room in the flattering cut as well. I am thrilled to find this site and the unique quality merchandise - I love that it was crafted by an artisan and not in a inferior sweatshop somewhere - the price and quality are simply amazing. Kudos to Nat Geo for helping establish a site like this!

It doesn't matter your favorite pattern as I have several and have gifted these beautiful robes as well! They are so pretty, comfortable and look great inside and even for lounge wear around the pool, walking the dog, taking the kids to school with leggins and a tank top, checking the mail...no matter what you like to wear a robe for-with these beauties, you'll find you can wear them out and people will stop you and want to know about them!

I recently moved from a house to a condo where neighbors tend to do sweet things like drop off packages, ect. I also work at home so spend some days in my jammies for a good part of the day as I work. I wanted a nice coverup that I could throw on over anything and be completely presentable, something other than a traditional bathrobe. This beautiful, well made, sturdy (not flimsy see-through) bright, classy kimono did the trick! I like it so well that I ordered another one as well as a short one for the summer. Highly recommended.
