"Inspired by textiles from Thailand's Lisu Hill Tribes, Chattima fuses cultures in this elegant navy jacket. Made from a cotton and hemp blend the open jacket highlights Lisu Strips on the cuffs and front opening. This traditional textile is made by overlapping and folding thin strips of brightly colored fabric producing an applique patchwork that is applied to clothing. Chattima sympathetically combines this with hand stamped indigo fabric inserts on the cuff from the Hmong tribe and hand made silk rozettes on the placket. A single hand tied robe button finishes the neckline."

"I am Chattima, born in 1967 in northern Thailand. My family has a background in furniture making, specializing in teak pieces. From a young age, I had a passion for art, which led me to study costume design at a vocational college in my hometown. After graduating, I ventured into tailoring, creating custom clothing for women. I manage all aspects of the process, from design to pattern making to sewing.
