"My artistic journey began with studying fine arts and a fascination with woodworking. This led me to experiment with wood and resin, crafting jewelry with distinctive designs inspired by the textures and patterns of weathered wood, ancient roots, and the cracks in Gyumri's historic doors. Instead of sketching, I let each piece speak to me, allowing ideas to emerge during the creative process, which I then translate into wood, shaping it into the right form.
"I draw inspiration from nature, especially fruit tree wood like apricot, which offers the ideal canvas for intricate engravings and carvings. Although resin can be challenging, taking up to two days to dry, the final results are undeniably beautiful. My vision extends to involving my family and other skilled artisans. Ultimately, I find beauty in nature's gifts and aim to share that beauty with the world."
