"Artist Nyoman Tomblos showcases his native Bali's green hills and valleys in his impressionist work 'Kelingkung Vibes', dedicated to the rich nature surrounding Kelingkung village. Teeming with biodiversity, the forests and fields of Kelingkung exhibit a bountiful collection of tree species, including hardwoods and palms, painted by Tomblos to highlight their individual beauty. Utilizing the pointillism technique to achieve his impressionist language, Tomblos patterns elongated dots to create the effect of a solid image, especially when viewed from afar. Unlike a completed filled painting, pointillism depends on the eye and imagination of the viewer to complete the spaces, resulting in differing perceptions from one observer to the next. Prior to digital pixels, pointillism pioneered the grainy look of additive colors. Tomblos' combination of primary hues aligns with his contrasting use of dark and bright regions to achieve an creative distribution of dynamic light."

Nyoman Tomblos was born on June 12, 1970 in Bali. As a child he always wished to be a great artist who would travel all over the world. An artist, according to his imagination, is someone free to do anything and everything, uninhibited by the commands of others.
He began painting in 1990 as a self-taught artist. His initial theme was the Balinese rice field, as he elaborated images first on the walls of his home before opting for mixed media paints on paper and canvas. In 1993 Tomblos came under the tutelage of Arie Smit, a renowned artist, focusing especially on color and composition. His paintings have been exhibited throughout Bali.
