This is a real purple orchid which is protected with a resin to protect it. When I opened the package I could hardly believe the natural beauty of it. I will cherish it forever. These earrings are breathtaking and large enough everyone can enjoy them. I love these so much, this is my second pair. I bought two pair in case I lose an earring, I wanted to have some spares. I don't know how long they will be selling them, and with my luck, the day I lose one, they will stop selling more. My only request would be to have the option to get solid gold posts, or at least have a few options for posts. I have very sensitive ears, and I have to coat the posts with clear fingernail polish. I love them.

This necklace is like nothing I have ever had before, just knowing the flower is actually a real flower makes this even more special. The colors are vibrant, and just gorgeous, I will cherish this . I got the midnight blue this time but I will eventually like to get other colors. Also the box it came in is so perfect to keep in in to protect it. I actually bought 2 pairs of these beautifully enhanced Petal Rain earrings constructed using natural Thai orchid petals because I know and trust Danai to deliver a product that is an accurate representation of what he advertises from previous purchases from him. And, therefore, I wasn't disappointed when they arrived... carefully packaged and ready for gift giving! Yet each time I open a new box, I still find myself gasping in awe! "Orchid Magic" is just stunningly beautiful! The colors are deep and rich, the resin is perfectly applied (and believe me, I now know how HARD that is to do!!), and the gold accents on the edges of the petals is just enough without being too much. It's just sheer perfection and I'm sure I'll be buying more over the next decade. Keep it up, Danai! Your work is LOVED!

A hanging basket overflowing with this Dischidia's vines appears as thousands of tiny green hearts, and gives rise to the common name of the "thousand hearts vine." I own several pieces of jewelry from this artist and these earrings are of the same high quality construction as his other work.
