"Hello everyone! Today, I want to share my story with all of you—a story of struggle, love, and overcoming obstacles. My name is Bryan, and a few years ago, I was deeply immersed in addiction. My life seemed meaningless, and I felt lost. However, thanks to my strength and the support of a rehabilitation center, I was able to move forward.
"It was at that center where I met Sandra, a brave woman also fighting her own addictions. Together, we supported each other and fell in love. It was a challenging time, but we managed to overcome our addictions and start a new life together.
"However, we needed a source of income. That's when we decided to take courses at the INA (National Institute of Learning in Costa Rica) to improve our job opportunities. We never imagined the potential we had, but thanks to our Professor and all the staff at INA, we were able to develop our skills and learn the art that we now work on.
"Life had more tests in store for us. The death of Sandra's father was one of the saddest moments we have ever experienced. He had been ill for many years, and we took care of him until the end. He became like a father to me as well, and his passing left a huge void in our hearts. But we kept moving forward, working hard, and always remembering his words of encouragement.
"Sandra's father left us a small piece of land where we dream of creating a self-sustaining farm and offering craft courses to others. We want to share our passion for art with others and teach them a skill that can improve their lives.
"We are a determined couple with many dreams in our hearts. Our passion for art fills us with life and allows us to express our deepest feelings. Wood is a wonderful material that makes us feel close to nature and enables us to create unique products that reflect our essence and heart.
"We are incredibly grateful for the opportunities that have come our way, and we want to continue growing as resilient artisans. We know that many artisans struggle to emerge from anonymity and find opportunities, which is why we are thrilled to introduce ourselves and share our story with all of you."
