Great size (almost 1.5?) and thin enough to be very lightweight so perfect for everyday wear. I also like the earwire/hinge/clasp in back. The wire is plenty long so little chance of pinching in back and it is secure.The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the way they hang on MY ears. I can't see any bright silver?only dark so they look like dark metal instead of the silver they are.

These owl earrings are gorgeous! They aren't heavy, though they are quite large/wide. Workmanship is beautiful, detail is perfect! And the design of the owl is unique, which I really love...not the usual owl-figure.

I bought these earring because my son loves when I wear animal themed jewelry. Of course, a working woman can only own so many pairs of giraffe earrings! These were a lovely compromise: he gets his birds, I get something delicate and lovely that doesn't feel themed. The color is a darker orange, with goes nicely with my red hair and makes the design stand out better than it might. The body of the earrings is extremely solid, despite that delicate appearance. My only criticism is that I wish that the wire themselves were a touch more substantial. Still, they aren't flimsy. A good purchase that I am pleased with.

I love these Crescent Lace Earrings! They go with so many of my black stone and silver necklaces. The filigree is a lovely touch which makes them quite feminine. Great size (almost 1.5?) and thin enough to be very lightweight so perfect for everyday wear. I also like the earwire/hinge/clasp in back. The wire is plenty long so little chance of pinching in back and it is secure.The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the way they hang on MY ears. I can't see any bright silver?only dark so they look like dark metal instead of the silver they are.

"My name is Nyoman Rupadana, but everyone calls by my last name. I was born in Gianyar in 1969. People know me as a shy, humble and honest man. I love playing badminton, volleyball, soccer as well as gardening and farming.

"Many people in my hometown work with silver. My parents were both farmers and I was the seventh of nine children. To help my parents with expenses, I began to work in my friend's dad's jewelry workshop when I was in fourth grade. They paid me a dime or two so I could buy lunch at school, and also gave me some clothes.

"After graduating from high school, I returned home, determined to work on my own. With 25 grams of silver, I began crafting jewelry to sell.

"In 2002, my sales lowered dramatically due to a terrorist attack in Bali, and many others suffered at the time.

"In 1994, I married a beautiful woman who used to be my neighbor and we have two sons and a daughter. My wife helps me create silver jewelry. I am so honored to have a beautiful family and see my children grow.

"I feel most at peace when my jewelry sells in the market and people appreciate my work. My designs are based on current fashion trends and include Balinese motifs and engravings.

"My parents once told me that if you are good at something, you have to express it through hard work and not waste a gift from God."
