Kathleen This is a beautiful skirt, but if you generally choose L, try M. The skirt touches the floor when my 5'7"plus fraction of an inch frame is barefoot. The skirt has an elastic waistband. It's lined and has lots of swish. It would be hard to shorten.

Susan L I was delighted to find this kind of openwork because of a beloved dress I bought decades ago that I wore out I loved if so much. This blouse came very quickly, has impeccable quality, and fit perfectly. It is beyond my expectations. I put it on immediately and took a beautiful selfie which I have never Done in my life before because the blouse was so flattering.
