"Hello, my name is Syed Sajad Hussain. I was born in Kashmir. I have inherited these rich craft traditions from my ancestors, who have been creating exquisite handicrafts for a long time. Ever since I began, I have been always keen about one thing and that is quality.
"My designs include chain-stitched rugs, shawls, pashminas, hand-painted papier maché, table linens and bedspreads. I think there are a lot of things involved in making your art worthwhile. I ordered this for my husband and an upcoming fall trip to Scotland. I am thinking I need to steal this from him. The fabric is wonderfully soft and silky. There is absolutely no itchiness. It is light, thin, warm, and feels wonderful next to your skin. It would be worth every penny at twice the price. It is very well made, and I was especially taken by the lovely gauze pouch it came in.

I love the delicate look and feel of this shawl, but am disappointed that you can clearly only wear it on one side. The reverse side has the numerous threads used to design the intricate pattern, but these are easy to snag or catch on things and look unfinished. I light lining of some type would look more finished and protect from constant snags.

I like this poncho very much. It's useful for flipping on to go outside briefly, or around the house for a little extra warmth, and as a bed jacket when I'm reading in bed at night. I feel warmth and it feels soft, but it won't keep you warm in low temperatures. However, I think it is very good for the price, and even if it's modal, I'll keep it because it is such a lovely colour and good for daily life for me.
