It's The Year of The Tiger and so what better gift to get my Mother who just so happens to be a Tiger (Chinese Horoscope). She loves the necklace and I finally convinced her that she doesn't have to "save" things to wear only for special occasions. She wore this necklace the very next day and she says it's comfortable and slips easily over her head.

Today, I received my precious ”Sunny” gemstone tree. It was prettily packaged and gift-wrapped. Needless to say, I knew immediately that the item itself would be very precious given the way it was wrapped, and I was not mistaken. The citrine and amethyst tree is gorgeous, and I'm excited to be able to attract more positivity into our lives. The artist also included a nicely written postcard from Brazil. Thank you so much!!!

I'm assuming that the item was damaged during shipping. When I tried it on multiple fluorite chips ended up on the floor. The necklace still seemed to be salvageable after removing the broken stones but when I went to wear it I found additional broken stones. By that time I had tossed the packaging so I couldn't easily return it. I have purchased other items from this artisan which arrived just fine so I'm assuming this was a one time mailing issue.
