"My name is Somluck Komolmith. My nickname is Aoun, which means 'fat' but I'm not fat. :) I was born December 16, 1964, the youngest of five children. I have three brothers and one sister. My parents used to have a jewelry shop on the Myanmar border, but then we moved to a different city, where I went to high school. I decide to study for a vocational degree in accounting. My first job was in a bank and I worked there for 16 years.
"In 1992, I married my husband, who is an academic in the field of agriculture. I quit my job at the bank and decided to grow fruit trees. Almost all the trees in our garden are longan, mango and fruit trees to sell in the market. We have a son, born in 1993, and a daughter, born in 1996.
"Sadly, my father passed away when I was young. My brother and my sister moved to northern Thailand to be near me and to help take care of my mother. We all love her so much. And this has helped our family be closer.
"My two older brothers have jewelry shops and I have the chance to help them. I have had many opportunities to learn about jewelry and have even designed and created pieces myself. Other than designs to sell, I design almost all the jewelry I wear because I like to be different and original. But for myself, I have a number of jobs – running my business, being a homemaker, mother and wife. I'd never find the time to open a jewelry shop of my own. So I use the night to create jewelry to offer in only one place – with you. I use only high quality material from Thailand. Good material and good designs make for a good product, don't you think?
"For now I only create earrings, because they are so appealing to women. I also find them easier to make. I start by imagining a design, sketching it and selecting the materials. If I like it, I start to work on the real earrings. Eventually, I began to create necklaces and bracelets.
"In the future, I'd like to move my family to the country for a change and to become a farmer. Why? To take care of my mother. She wants to eat vegetables she has grown herself. She wants to be closer to nature too."

I love these earring. You would think they'd be very fragile because of them being so wispy, but that's not so. I've gone to bed forgetting to remove them. I woke and they were still on and perfect. That makes me think of something else that's very important. They're very light weight.

It is exactly as pictured and has a nice heavy weight to it. Will be quite noticeable even from a distance in a good way! I liked the way Somluck used the skinny turquoise beads to break up the monotonous onyx tubular beads. Casual yet pretty.

Looking for a long time for a medium to light green jade bracelet to match a ring. Beads are comfortable to wear and so smooth. True to size. Love elephant so much I plan on wearing separately as a pendant and keeping bracelet as a simple piece of jewelry. Was originally concerned 10mm bead would be too large for my small wrist, but the alternating discs between beads make it appear elegant and dainty! Thank you Somluck.

I just received my bracelet along with another gift I ordered from Thailand. I can't even begin to express how absolutely thrilled I am with this jewelry. This is not a small beaded bracelet. The jade beads are substantial which only serves to enhance the beauty of this piece. I have been a fan of Lapis Lazuli for many years and finally took the plunge and bought my first piece with this necklace! I love this necklace and bought it as a piece to wear everyday. I love this necklace. I wanted a lapis necklace that was not big and clunking and was so excited to discover this. It adds a fine line of color around the neckline. The silver is just ther right touch. I would buy others like this in different colored stones. I hesitated to buy this because I was just on my way to Thailand and wondered it I might find necklaces like for cheaper while there. I never saw anything like it.

I bought this beautiful jade bracelet for myself, and I just love it. I fell in love with elephants years ago when a friend gave me a sterling silver box with carved elephants on it. They say elephants are a symbol of strength, stability, power and wisdom. This bracelet will be an excellent conversation piece. I plan to order several more this year for my girlfriends. I ordered a size 7, my wrist is 6". The bracelet fits beautifully. It falls just below my sleeve but is not too loose. Thank you Somluck for your excellent and unique craftsmanship. This bracelet has become one of my favorite pieces of jewelry. It will go to my granddaughter when I pass. She already loves it, so I may have to buy one for her as well since I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon!

"My name is Somluck Komolmith. My nickname is Aoun, which means 'fat' but I'm not fat. :) I was born December 16, 1964, the youngest of five children. I have three brothers and one sister. My parents used to have a jewelry shop on the Myanmar border, but then we moved to a different city, where I went to high school. I decide to study for a vocational degree in accounting. My first job was in a bank and I worked there for 16 years.
"In 1992, I married my husband, who is an academic in the field of agriculture. I quit my job at the bank and decided to grow fruit trees. Almost all the trees in our garden are longan, mango and fruit trees to sell in the market. We have a son, born in 1993, and a daughter, born in 1996.
"Sadly, my father passed away when I was young. My brother and my sister moved to northern Thailand to be near me and to help take care of my mother. We all love her so much. And this has helped our family be closer.
"My two older brothers have jewelry shops and I have the chance to help them. I have had many opportunities to learn about jewelry and have even designed and created pieces myself. Other than designs to sell, I design almost all the jewelry I wear because I like to be different and original. But for myself, I have a number of jobs – running my business, being a homemaker, mother and wife. I'd never find the time to open a jewelry shop of my own. So I use the night to create jewelry to offer in only one place – with you. I use only high quality material from Thailand. Good material and good designs make for a good product, don't you think?
