My mother remarried and had two children. Then my father, who still lived alone, took me to stay with him when I was in M.3 [ninth grade]. My father worked as an art teacher and supported me so I could study art, which made me very happy. After high school I hoped to continue studying art in Bangkok's most famous university, but I failed the entrance exam twice.
So I tried to gain more experience in art by myself. I had a chance to live with a famous Thai artist in Bangkok and worked with him for a while. I think I learned more from him than I could have in the university.
I came home in 1998 and worked with my friends, painting and organizing art exhibitions. Painting isn't a simple thing. Artists need a high level of concentration and strong intentions to create a work. Some paintings take a long time to finish and you will see this in the details. I love my life and I love to create more and more works of art.
