Inspired by the quiet colors of morning just before the mist begins to lift, the Morning Mist Kumihimo Necklace blends soft blue, smoky mauve, silvery gray, and lustrous white accents into a peaceful, understated design. The muted colors shift gently around the necklace like patches of sky, clouds, and fading shadows, creating a piece that feels soothing, feminine, and easy to wear.

Morning Mist adds color without demanding attention. Its soft palette pairs beautifully with white, gray, blue, denim, and other cool neutrals, making it equally at home with a relaxed linen top, office attire, or a favorite dress. Scattered lustrous white beads brighten the design and give the necklace a lightly speckled appearance reminiscent of sunlight beginning to break through the haze.

Handcrafted using traditional Japanese Kumihimo braiding techniques, the necklace is made with 6/0 glass seed beads. These larger beads create a fuller, more substantial profile than necklaces made with smaller 8/0 seed beads while retaining the smooth, flexible feel of a braided rope necklace.

I discovered Kumihimo during a chaotic time when I needed something calming, structured, and creative. What started as a quiet creative outlet became a meaningful way to design jewelry with patience, intention, and attention to detail.

Maker BadgeAlzheimer’s Awareness Bracelet Collection

My Alzheimer’s Awareness bracelets were created from personal caregiving experience and a desire to honor families affected by Alzheimer’s. Each bracelet is designed with shades of violet, a color often associated with Alzheimer’s awareness, and is meant to symbolize love, strength, memory, and support. This collection is especially close to my heart because it reflects both the beauty and difficulty of walking alongside someone through memory loss. My hope is that these bracelets offer a small but meaningful way to show support, start conversations, and remind caregivers and families that they are not alone. A portion of the proceeds from each Alzheimer’s Awareness bracelet will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association to support their work in care, support, research, and advocacy.
