I purchased the ring that matches this piece, and I am crazy in love with it. I am not quite as enthusiastic about this necklace though. The turquoise is an amazing milky color, and gorgeous, but this substantial stone sits at the very bottom of a very thin and narrow plate of hammered silver, and I keep wishing there was a bit more to the silver background. Still beautiful though.

Taxco is such an amazing group of exceptional artists. These earrings exemplify that excellence. These make a bold, contemporary statement and frame the face beautifully. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they are the same size as the necklace. I would have preferred that the earrings have been slightly smaller than the necklace.
