The miniature art is 5.5x 5.5 inches framed in a wood repurposed frame with a beautifully decorated metal appliqué . It can be displayed one the wall or on a shelf, desk, nightstand, in a bookcase or on an easel. The piece is not grouted. Smalti is an Italian type of glass, thicker than stained glass with a unique shine. Because the cuts come from blocks of glass rather than flat glass, the mosaic has a great depth, making it interesting and unique.
