"The sculptures I make transform feminine sensuality into an object. The foot of a woman awakes men's fascination, and I think that my metal sandals have an impact on people because of this.

"I like to create figurative pieces that awaken the public's imagination. Everybody sees a different person atop each little shoe.

"I began sculpting in resin and bronze, but I became impassioned by fire and today I work almost exclusively with soldering techniques. My creative process expanded greatly, as I make everything from decorative objects to tall iron gates, inspired by some sudden idea."

The Brazilian artist is also a talented painter.
