Goris Artisan Group

"I am Ruzanna Torozyan from the Goris Artisan Group. Our group was the first in Armenia to procure wool considered waste from local farmers and process it using natural, traditional methods. All raw materials are processed naturally, without chemical additives.

"At our workshop, we restore traditional ornaments and create carpets and souvenirs with both traditional and modern designs. We offer a complete wool processing value chain, starting from raw wool to finished products. We take pride in the unique history and types of products we create.

"The Goris Artisan Group aims to support women from families in difficult situations by developing their professional abilities and skills, making them more self-confident, more competitive in the labor market or starting their own business. The group is also a training center for young girls who are studying in various educational and industrial colleges, or are interested in developing their craft skills."
