"I am Eva Asantewa Amakye and I'm a designer from Accra. My friends say I'm kind-hearted, and I am very serious about my work. I became interested in wood carving while working with artisans. Today, I direct carvers to create my own designs.
"I love seeing how antique pieces evoke feelings of nostalgia. The most challenging aspect of this art is building on ideas, and the creative process from design to finish.
