About this item

"Graceful and feminine, this blouse is designed by Isha Jain. She selects handloomed cotton in bright lime green for the scoop-neck tunic. Ornate motifs in vivid rose exemplify the ancient Indian block print technique, and beads, applied by hand, adorn the placket. The top slips over the head.

As is typical of genuine handloomed fabric, there are tiny slubs throughout. This occurs when a thread runs out, and the weaver extends it by twisting a new thread together with the old."

The color defines emerald green. It is gorgeous. I wear XL and the fit was good. The fabric does not stretch. You also might need to wear an undershirt or cami since I thought the fabric is a little rough against the skin on my chest and shoulders because of the slight texture of the material. It is a very light shirt, anyway. I’ve worn it out a few times hot compliments on the color.
