Got this for my fella who has had a stroke. I left the paperwork, showing 4 different designs which can be made, on the counter with all the puzzle pieces dumped out and the frame sitting empty. These are very nicely machined 3-D wood puzzles and come in a snug-fitting 7-5/8 X 5-1/4 X 2-1/2 inch box. My only concern was that the lid of the wooden box holding the puzzles separated a little at the joints on on one side probably related to difference in humidity between my location and the source. However, the illustrations are very small, there are no written step-by-step instructions, and it is difficult to understand some of the illustrations. These are probably best purchased for an adult who is very patient, and who is able to do some independent on-line research for help with the solutions. A separate sheet with more detailed instructions for each puzzle's solution would be welcome for those who need a little help. I'd be hesitant to give this set to anyone less then 13 years old unless they are already a 3D puzzle expert and also have above average spatial visualization skills.
